A prominent figure in Atlanta’s Hip Hop and Fashion scenes, Bernard’s expertise spans lighting techniques, fashion, and set design. His technical acumen and marketing savvy have led to numerous accolades, including his tenure as Creative Director and Event Producer for LVL XIII Luxury Brand (2014-2018) and Creative Director for Hip Hop Style Issues (Be Magazine/Hip Hop Basement) from 2013 to 2019. Over the years, Bernard has worked on high-profile projects with renowned artists, athletes, and actors such as Academy Award Nominee Margaret Avery, Olympian Hazel Clark, and Hip Hop artists like Rich Homie Quan, Stunna4Vegas, Rich the Kid, Trinidad James, and Skippa Da Flippa, among many others.
Bernard Love is a dynamic creative director and founder of Creative Purp, a cutting-edge creative agency based in Atlanta. With a rich background in event and film production, Bernard blends his diverse creative talents with a unique worldview, shaped by his academic journey in English with a concentration in creative writing at Ole Miss and a certification in Economics from HarvardX. Bernard's work has gained widespread recognition, amassing over 50 million YouTube views. He has directed popular music videos such as Young Nudy’s "Yeah Yeah" and Skippa Da Flippa’s “Don’t Play Me” and “TMOMM,” the latter of which garnered 1 million views within 24 hours on World Star Hip Hop. His creative contributions include serving as a field team member for the Super Bowl 54 Atlanta Halftime Show, producing LVL XIII’s NYFW show at Pier 59 Studios in Manhattan, and winning the Audience Award at the Atlanta 48 Hour Film Festival for his short film Headlines (screenwriter). Bernard also contributed as a curriculum advisor for the Fashion Merchandising Program at the Art Institute of Atlanta in 2017. His work has been featured in top media outlets, including MTV2, V Files, RollingOut, Revolt, Billboard, and XXL. Currently, Bernard is in production on The Fade Project: Black Men, Therapy, and the Barbershop, a groundbreaking documentary aimed at breaking the stigma around mental health in Black men while highlighting the cultural importance of the barbershop in Black communities. Known for his innovative vision and passion for storytelling, Bernard continues to push creative boundaries, inspiring others with his bold imagination and dedication to his craft.
